Cool Haus’: Fried Chicken And Waffles Ice Cream
[dc]T[/dc]his was a totally random find for me! I was passing by after leaving the neighboring repair shop and saw people inside eating ice cream. This shop is easy to miss if you don’t look into the windows or aren’t intentionally going there. Because the only sign is a neon sign which is obviously not lit during daylight, I didn’t see the name of this place and assumed it was business upstart as such. I wanted to support so I went in.
Upon entry, I could tell this place was going to be great by the smell alone. I skimmed over the ice cream flavor names and one in particular caught my curiosity and attention–Fried Chicken and Waffles (with fried chicken skins and maple syrup). Never heard of it before and love the actual dish, so I went for it. Delicious!! The ice cream is rich in texture and flavor. Though a small 1-scoop serving is $4, it was well worth it. I would definitely revisit Cool Haus’ just for this flavor and to give the others a try.
