I checked out Jill Scott’s new album Woman today on Spotify. God bless Spotify! We get to hear full albums now and decide whether or not it’s worth buying. No more getting duped into purchasing an entire album to find out there are only a few good songs on the whole thing.
Well, 2 songs in on Spotify I decided to buy Jill’s – that what I call her cause in my mind we’re friends – new album. Loving it! In true fashion this woman sings, saaangs, scats & raps as only she can do. And just like every other JS album she teases us with interludes that could and should be amazing full length songs.
