Tess Holliday is bold, beautiful and now making history as the first size 22 model to sign a contract with a major modeling agency. Quite a feat for a model whose career took off after posting photos of herself on Model Mayhem.

Holliday (whose birth name is Tess Munster) is 5 feet 5 inches tall which is unheard of by modeling industry standards. Top that with her curvaceous size 22 and she’s completely breaking through the limited barriers the modeling industry has long adhered to.
MiLK Management (her new agency based in the UK) took to Twitter to share the news saying,
SOOO excited to announce we now represent #TessHolliday, plus-size model/blogger”
You may have seen her in the Benefit Cosmetics ads or featured in Vogue Italia in addition to her work on an upcoming project with David LaChapelle.
The excited model says this is all a dream come true.
It’s something that I’ve wanted my whole life, so to even think that it’s happened, it feels like an out-of-body experience,” the 29-year-old told People Magazine.
